After inspecting this basement in Coventry, RI and discussing with the homeowner how the existing sump pump was not performing up to standard, the inspector and owner worked together to create a plan on making this basement dry! The decision to upgrade the sump pump to our TripleSafe sump system was easy! The TripleSafe system is a closed lid system, to keep out dirt and debris, and has three pumps inside. There is the primary for your basic groundwater seepage, then the secondary that can kick on if the primary needs extra help with large amounts of water. The third pump is a battery powered backup pump that can kick on if they two other pumps need the extra help or if the home loses power in a storm. Now knowing they have this system on their side, the homeowners can live easier, especially when it rains! 

This stone foundation was leaking every time it would rain heavily in Coventry, RI. A partial WaterGuard system was installed so the homeowner could monitor the problem. We installed CleanSpace on the walls, tucking behind the WaterGuard. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that would direct any water seeping from the walls into the underground drainage system and into the SuperSump on the other side of the basement.
