Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A customer in North Providence, RI was experiencing an issue with humidity. This was an on going problem for him throughout the years, and it was getting worse. The basement was showing signs of mold on the wood, which is not the best thing to breathe in! We took initiative and decreased the humidity risk by installing CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to prevent moisture, mold and rot. In addition, we installed our WaterGuard interior drainage system to collect water seepage, which also contributed to the humidity problem. 

This homeowner in North Providence, RI was finding that water was entering their basement through the walls and floor so they gave us a call looking for a solution. Our inspector, Steve, drew up a plan that would combat the water entering from both areas. On installation day, our crew, lead by MJ, installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the floor and our SuperSump Plus sump pump. These two products will work together to take care of the water entering through the floor. For the walls, our CleanSpace Wall System was installed to act as a vapor barrier and lock out moisture. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about water getting into their basement from neither the walls or the floor.

They decided pouring a new concrete floor would be a great benefit for the basement instead of the wooden floor. The wooden floor was torn up in preparation to pour the concrete.
