Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Hingham, MA reached out to us because their crawl space has had a musty smell since the day they moved in, which was now almost 16 years ago, so they decided it was finally time to do something about it. One of our inspectors, Trevor, was happy to draw up a solution to rid the space of the musty smell. On installation day, foreman Carlos and his crew showed up ready to encapsulate the crawl space. They started by removing any debris that wasn't needed in the space and then laid down the drainage matting over the dirt floor. Along the crawl space walls, the crew installed our SilverGlo insulation which is very effective in regulating the crawl space's temperature. With the drainage matting and SilverGlo in place, the crew was then ready to encapsulate with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System seals off the space from being negatively impacted by water and other outside factors. Finally, the crew set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the space to keep humidity low. With the crawl space encapsulated and SaniDry Sedona running, the space no longer has that musty smell and the rest of the house is happier and healthier for it!
