Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner in Narragansett, RI started to notice an odd smell coming from below. Turns out, his crawlspace was the main source of the issue because it was damp and cold. Since the crawlspace was exposed to dirt, he called DryZone Basement Systems to see if they could encapsulate his dirt crawlspace. The result? Our terrific team came with a plan and installed CleanSpace vapor barrier all along the flood to create protection from moisture!

To help, our production crew applied CleanSpace vapor barrier along the whole floor of the crawlspace to separate the earth from her home. This crawlspace located in Narragansett, RI is a little larger and taller than some other crawlspaces our crews have worked in the last few weeks! This damp and musty crawl space was faced with structural damage due to all the mold growing onto the wood. This caused the floor above to sag down since the support below was deteriorating. To solve this problem, we raised the floor back up and stabilized it through our installation of SmartJack floor support systems. These are fully adjustable and won't corrode, giving this floor a permanent solution! Also, we fully encapsulated this crawl space to prevent moisture from seeping in. 

A Providence, RI, homeowner discovered he needed a waterproofing system after seeing water continually make its way through his cinderblock foundation. The issue with cinderblocks is that they are very porous, so water and air easily pass through.
