This homeowner in Wakefield, RI reached out to us looking for encapsulation options for their crawl space. Our inspector, Michael, went to the home to assess the space and draw up a solution. On installation day, Foreman MJ and his crew first laid down our drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow water to flow under and out rather than pool inside. Then the crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace seals out moisture from entering the crawl space through the walls and floor. Now the homeowner can feel confident about the conditions of their crawl space!
When this homeowner went to investigate a pipe leak in their crawl space in Wakefield, RI, they found some rot and overall moisture concerns that they needed addressed ASAP! Moisture in a crawl space is nothing to breeze over, it can lead to mold and rot, and since the bottom of your home holds a lot of the structural components of your home, it can cause some serious problems! Luckily, this homeowner gave us a call and got an encapsulation along with our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The encapsulation was done with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, sealing the damp earth from the home. That, along with the dehumidifier, will help transform this crawl into a dry and healthy space!
This summer cottage in Wakefield, RI was seeing some puddling and draftiness in their crawlspace and wanted a solution that would fix their problems, and luckily for them we had a plan. Along with our CleanSpace vapor barrier that would help encapsulate the space, we installed Rim Joist Insulation. The insulation will help seal the CleanSpace as well as insulate the space, preventing moisture and cool air from leaking in.
A wet basement in North Providence would always have water trickling down the walls and emerging out of the floor of the foundation. This was bringing in moisture, the possibility of mold growth, and musty odors. To keep the moisture to a low, we placed CleanSpace wall vapor barrier onto the walls. This creates a layer of a thick white liner to block out the outside moisture form trying to get in.
A customer in Holliston, MA was constantly dealing with his damp crawlspace. There was some mold growth due to excess amounts of moisture getting in, so it was time to change things! With CleanSpace vapor barrier installed, this crawlspace has moved on from its dark, cold days. Less moisture getting in means less chances of mold growth and odors. We also placed in SilverGlo wall insulation to reflect heat back in, heating up the area!
