Moisture in a crawl space is nothing to breeze over, it can lead to mold and rot, and since the bottom of your home holds a lot of the structural components of your home, it can cause some serious problems! Luckily, this homeowner gave us a call and got an encapsulation along with our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The encapsulation was done with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, sealing the damp earth from the home. That, along with the dehumidifier, will help transform this crawl into a dry and healthy space!
A wet basement in North Providence would always have water trickling down the walls and emerging out of the floor of the foundation. This was bringing in moisture, the possibility of mold growth, and musty odors. To keep the moisture to a low, we placed CleanSpace wall vapor barrier onto the walls. This creates a layer of a thick white liner to block out the outside moisture form trying to get in.

This homeowner in Cranston, RI reached out to us because their crawl space was having extreme moisture issues that were causing the fiberglass insulation to make a mess in the space. On installation day, our crew first removed the deteriorated fiberglass insulation, then they laid down drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow any water to flow under and out instead of pooling inside. They reinsulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation which regulates temperature and doesn't deteriorate over time. Then the crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal it off. They lastly installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the moisture in the air under control. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about excessive moisture or messy insulation in their crawl space!
