Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

The home owner's in Bridgewater, Massachusetts would like to eventually finish their basement off but they have a few problem areas that collect water. One area in particular is at the bottom of the stairway in their basement. Our system design specialist Dan Gallinger suggested installed a french drain in that area which would connect to the perimeter drain system and sump pump. If water collects in this area it will go straight into the drain and get pumped out of the basement. 

Every time it rained this home in Bridgewater experienced severe flooding. The family would have to rush to the basement to put down towels to collect rainwater from a crack in their basement. After installing our FlexiSpan crack repair, there is no more water and the family has peace of mind!

This unfinished basement in Braintree, MA was not in the best shape. There were clear signs of mold growth on some of the wooden material and the humidity was higher than usual. At the end of the job, we also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier for additional help to lower the relative humidity!

Although we always recommend a full perimeter, they only ever got water in this spot so we offered to treat just that area. With the stone foundation, our inspector recommended to cover it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and install Waterguard and a SuperSump Plus system in that space to take care of water seeping through.
