Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This basement in Hope Valley, RI was creating issues for this homeowner. The moisture getting into this basement caused some of the wood to rot which is never a good sign. Wood rot can get severe to a point where it weakens the support it provides to the floor above. To prevent further moisture intrusion, we covered the interior walls with CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier! 

You will see water damage on the floor and wall from years of leaking in the Before. In the After, you will see the wet concrete where a full perimeter system has been installed to drain the water from the home.

There was one particular section in this Cumberland, RI basement that was leaking in water from the wall and floor. It was a corner of the basement, so the homeowner had a sump pump installed there. But he noticed that the basement felt damp and humid still, so he called us to see what additional work could be done. Once our inspector was able to visit him and discuss the best possible solution, we ended up applying CleanSpace wall vapor barrier for this homeowner. This will slow down the amount of moisture and vapor trying to get in, which will lower the relative humidity in the basement! The less humid the basement, the longer it will last. 

Our customer in Auburn, MA needed some help with basement waterproofing. We installed our WaterGuard Drainage System beneath the floor along with an access port, Zoeller M-53 Sump Pump, IceGuard, and a Lawnscape outlet. This photo set set shows the basement wall and floor before and after we installed and used cement to seal over the WaterGuard Sub-Floor Drainage System. 

This customer in Auburn, MA was distressed after seeing puddles of water at his garage door! He had specialized items in his garage that weren't meant to be sitting near puddles, so our production crew dug a trench where the grade door was collecting water and installed a TrenchDrain system. This will collect any surface water to help prevent puddles being formed!
