This homeowner form Mendon, MA was not thrilled seeing water puddling in her basement. She was looking for a drainage system to connect to her existing sump and we were able to provide her with a full perimeter installation of WaterGuard drainage system. The crew made a trench on the inside perimeter to put the WaterGuard in, filled the rest of the trench with clean stone and covered it up with concrete! Now, any water seeping in will be successfully captured and drained!

To do so, the customer wanted to begin with a vapor barrier, such as our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier. We covered the walls with the thick polyethylene material to keep moisture out, which will benefit this customer because the chances of mold growth and humidity have decreased!

After meeting with our inspector Nick, they decided to move forward with the installation of the TripleSafe sump pump system. Equipped with three pumps (hence triple safe!), including a batter operated pump with battery pack, they knew they would be protected even in the event of a power failure.

Our inspector, Nick, went out to the home to assess the space and drew up a solution. On installation day, our foreman, MJ, and his crew first removed any debris that was in the space and then sprayed our Mold-X2 spray to clean and prevent mold going forward. They laid down drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow any water to flow under and out instead of pooling inside. Then they insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation and TerraBlock floor insulation which regulate temperature and don't deteriorate over time. The crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed our SaniDry XP dehumidifier to keep humidity low year-round. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawl space is in good condition.
