The existing sump pump and dehumidifier set up in this unfinished, concrete basement in Exeter, RI was not keeping up with the moisture, humidity and water that the basement was taking in. With the electrical cords also laying in the water on the basement floor, it posed a big safety risk as well. Our team installed a brand new, top of the line TripleSafe Sump pump system in it's place, as well as our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier system on an elevated stand - to eliminate any safety or health risk. The dehumidifier is set up to drain automatically into the sump pump system by design, and is completely hands-off and worry free. Think: set it & forget it! Our inspector, Josh, went out to the home to take a look at the crawl space and he drew up a solution to reinsulate and encapsulate it using our products. Our foreman, Riley, and his crew first removed the debris that was in the space and then they laid down drainage matting over the dirt floor. They reinsulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation to regulate temperature year-round and it won't deteriorate over time. The crew then fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to completely seal it off. Now the homeowner can have peace of mind when it comes to their crawl space.
