This dirt floor crawlspace in Marlborough, MA would stand to benefit greatly from our CleanSpace encapsulation system! These homeowners had been familiar with our name through word of mouth, and referrals from friends and neighbors, and when they decided to tackle this crawlspace project - knew exactly who to call! With our CleanSpace crawlspace vapor barrier encapsulation system, and brand new SilverGlo insulation throughout, DryZone was able to help create an effective barrier between the dirt floor and the inside of the home, provide a protective thick barrier to help withstand moisture and mildew, and new insulation throughout will help maintain a more regular temperature and environment for the main living level above!
When this customer from Hope, RI gave us a call, we were informed that her crawlspace felt extremely damp, to a point where she didn't even want to store items due to how uncomfortable it felt. When basements and crawlspaces are damp, a reliable solution would be to install our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and cover the floor with CleanSpace vapor barrier. That is exactly what our production crew did to make sure that moisture has a difficult time getting in, as well as drying out the air of any excess moisture lurking in the space. Safe guarding your basement from the outside environment is crucial for the longevity of your home, so call us!
This homeowner in Southborough, MA couldn't stand the smell she was experiencing everyday coming from her basement. The moisture in the basement was overwhelming, causing humidity levels to rise. Luckily, we came to save the day by installing our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to reduce relative humidity and applied CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to keep the moisture out!
For this Mendon, MA install, Waterguard was added around the basement to collect any water seeping in and leading that water to the sump system installed. The Waterguard sits below the floor's surface, with just a small bit visible if you look very closely. We jack up the floor for the install but then concrete over it for a nice and smooth finish. In this before and after, minus the wet new concrete, there isn’t really much of a visible difference. The drain is not an eyesore and won’t interfere or take up space in your basement.
This old system in Mendon, MA was failing and could not keep up with the water flowing in and needed a new and improved system that could, that’s where DryZone steps in! We were able to tell him about our products and how they would contribute to keeping the basement dry better than the system he had before. Along with our Waterguard drainage system, we installed our TripleSafe sump pump that includes our battery backup pump. That backup pump is a great addition to the system so, in the case of a power outage, that pump will kick on and be able to get water out until power is restored and the other pumps turn back on.
