This crawlspace was riddled with mold and water. The soaking wet fiberglass insulation was falling from the rim joists. DryZone came to this Sciutuate, MA property and installed a TripleSafe sump pump system to control the ground water, drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier and spray foam insulation. What a noticeable difference!
The owners of this basement in Scituate, MA were tired of having a damp and useless area that they could not seem to fix, or at least they thought. After calling DryZone Basement Systems and having one of our Specialist visit the home to asses the space, they became reassured that they could finally get relief from this problem! We went in and cleaned out the space, installing pumps, vapor barrier, a dehumidifier, and insulation to dry out and seal the space. The walls were covered in CleanSpace vapor barrier and, along with the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, will work to keep moisture out of the crawlspace. Teamed up with the TripleSafe sump pump, for three pumps worth of security, and the final touch of our Rim Joist insulation, water didn’t stand a chance again the equipment installed in this basement.
A customer living in Scituate, MA couldn't store items in her damp crawlspace. The moisture form the outside made its way into the area, causing the disturbance! The best solution we provided to prevent moisture from ruining the crawlspace was placing SilverGlo wall insulation to block off moisture and help maintain the temperature of the space. We also encapsulated the floor with CleanSpace vapor barrier. This layer keeps the outside moisture from entering the crawlspace, which will help improve the air quality and safety of the home!
The home owner in Scituate, Massachusetts was moving in to the property soon but wanted the crawl space to be inspected by DryZone Basement Systems. Our system design specialist Derek Rice went to the property and found old, hanging insulation along with other issues like moisture and damp areas. We were able to come up with a solution to solve the pour insulation problem and dampness which consisted of a vapor barrier lining, spray foam insulation, dehumidifier and a sump pump.
These homeowners in Mattapoisett, MA, had just recently bought a summer cottage to enjoy until the discovered their crawlspace flooded frequently, creating a home for rotting and mold. No worries here though, they called DryZone and got one of our inspectors out to create a solution for their messy situation. For a space like this, sumps and a barrier are highly recommended to protect the area and pump out any water that makes its way in. After a cleanout of the crawlspace, the crew lined it with CleanSpace as the barrier and SilverGlo to insulate, regulating the inside from moisture and drastic temperature changes.
