This homeowner from Needham, MA had no sump pump system or vapor barrier for his dirt crawlspace. No homeowner wants to see a cold, damp and humid crawlspace since it can cause some health concerns and structural damage. Our production team strategically laid out CleanSpace vapor barrier onto the cold floor to prevent moisture from ruining the crawlspace.
There was a homeowner from Needham, MA that wanted to fix his cold and damp crawlspace. It was showing signs of mold spores which is alarming since nobody wants to be breathing in any of that in their own living spaces. The best solution we provided was to completely encapsulate the crawlspace with CleanSpace vapor barrier and applied SilverGlo wall insulation to help warm up the area.
A customer in Sharon, MA contacted our appointment center because her crawlspace had some moisture that she was concerned about. She was looking to keep the crawlspace warm, protected and safe for the future of the house, but she needed the right products. That's where we came in to play! This crawl space in Norwood, MA needed some serious upgrading! With falling insulation and openings in the stone foundation, it was an open house for any and all of the elements. After the customer gave DryZone a call, we crafted a plan to encapsulate the crawl space with the CleanSpace vapor barrier and spray insulation to keep the elements out. We also used SilverGlo insulation, which will keep the temperate inside of the crawl regulated to help prevent drafty floors.
This basement in Waban, MA had some previous waterproofing solutions installed but wanted to make the big jump to a total waterproofing makeover, new floor, and all! After demoing the old floor, Waterguard was installed around the perimeter and connected to the previously installed TripleSafe sump pump. Then our crew could pour the new floor over, making sure it’s level and smooth.
