A homeowner from South Kingstown, RI had been noticing some concerning signs in his home. The crawlspace was sagging, potentially putting the structure of the house in risk. Any sagging portion of a home should be fixed to avoid costly damages! To help this homeowner avoid that, our production team addressed the sagging floor by installing our SmartJack floor support system. They made a stable holding ground under where the SmartJacks will go, and then each of them was carefully positioned and adjusted to bring the floor back to the original level!

It was to a point where enough was enough and called us for the best solution. We solved his issue by completely wrapping up the crawlspace with CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping in, which lowers the risk of mold growth and that awful smell.

DryZone's inspector and installation crew did an incredible job diagnosing, planning and executing this project which included: out CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation system and drainage matting (to create a protective firmer barrier beneath the CleanSpace and allow for water drainage), SilverGlo spray foam and foam board insulation, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, Mold-X mold and mildew treatment, and a SuperSump Plus sump pump system to handle any instances of flooding!

Our inspector, Connor, went to the home to assess the crawl space and draw up a solution. On installation day, Foreman Julius and his crew arrived at the home ready to make Connor's plan a reality. They first removed all of the debris that was in their way and then laid down drainage matting which allows water to flow under and out of the space instead of pooling inside of it. Then they fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Once the encapsulation was complete, the crew installed our EverLast Door over the crawl space entrance to further seal it off from being effected by the outdoor weather. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about the conditions of their crawl space.
