Existing Sump Hole
The existing sump hole was a bucket in the floor
Trench
The trench for the WaterGuard is dug
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
The WaterGuard is put in place in the trench and the CleanSpace Wall is tucked into the flange of the WaterGuard.
Crushed Stone
The WaterGuard is covered with crushed stone and drainage matting before being concreted.
All done!
The CleanSpace Wall is a vapor barrier that will protect the basement from wall seepage. It is safe to put walls up over the CleanSpace wall.
Exterior Discharge
The discharge line was dug because of unseasonably warm temperatures for the winter!
