Fall River Basement Waterproofing Install
Challenge
These homeowners in Fall River, MA had water seeping through their unfinished concrete foundation for a while. While they already had a drainage system in place, they were noticing that water was still coming up through the floor; their primary goal in contacting DryZone for a free estimate and inspection was to figure out the next course of action - installing a sump pump system with a battery powered back up.
Our inspector, Trevor, spend time taking different measurements and readings within the basement, and in discussing the issues with the homeowners from storms in the past - together, they came up with a plan to address the most prominent needs in the basement.
Solution
Our patented TripleSafe sump pump system seemed like the perfect fit for what these homeowners were looking to accomplish. With two cast-iron primary & secondary pumps built in, PLUS a third battery powered back up pump, all strategically stacked in the TripleSafe liner - they knew they would have plenty of power to get that water up and out of the basement. Our team also addressed replacing some insulation with our SilverGlo foam board insulation, to help seal out drafty air in the basement space. And in addition to the that, these homeowners agreed with Trevor's suggestion of installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to help keep moisture and dampness at bay. Our crew arranged for the Sedona to be automatically drained into the TripleSafe pump so there won't be any need for them to manually empty the dehumidifier - it will simply kick on when it's needed, turn off when it's not, and automatically drain so you can "set it and forget it" until you're due for annual maintenance!
