Damp Basement Transformed in Dighton, MA

Challenge

This homeowner was faced with a damp basement on the daily, especially after rainstorms. They say after each rain fall comes a rainbow, but for this basement, after each rain fall comes puddles of unwanted water. Other than the wet basement floor, there were small signs of mold growth weakening the wall structures, putting the foundation at risk. So we were contacted for our expertise, and we sent over our inspector to assess the problem more closely. 

Solution

Upon the inspection, a strategy was made. They'd install two products, The SuperSump pump system, known for its efficiency and power, will discharge the the seepage. The other being our WaterGuard interior drainage system, made to intercept water at the inside perimeter. 

So the team began by jackhammering the perimeter trench to place the WaterGuard system in, ensuring everything is perfect and leveled. Once in place, the WaterGuard was connected to the SuperSump we installed in the corner! The entire process was quick, smooth and efficient as the crew cleaned up after themselves, leaving nothing but a dry basement with a waterproofing system behind!
