Wet Basement Problem in Haydenville, MA
Challenge
This customer in Haydenville, MA owned an existing sump pump, didn't have a drainage system and was seeing puddling of water after rain storms. Having a sump pump is smart, since it will discharge water from the foundation. But the issue this customer was having was the fact that no all the water was getting to the sump. So the water that was seeping into the basement was either going to the sump or just sitting on the floor, bringing in moisture! Any sitting puddles of water in basements may not seem intimidating, but it can cause some serious structural and heal damages if it's not taken seriously. To give this customer a peace of mind, our inspector wrote up a free estimate of the job our production crew would install, and once the customer reviewed the details, he gave the green light to proceed!
Solution
Our production crew did a wonderful job a making a new sump pit where the water wasn't reaching the current sump pump. They installed the SuperSump pumping system and also attached an UltraSump backup pump. Having this backup pump will save this homeowner stress during heavy storms, as power outages are common during these incidents. Now, there's another sump pump to discharge water and the homeowner couldn't be more relieved!
