Martha's Vineyard Basement Waterproofing

Challenge

The homeowner's contractor contacted us to help with the basement. The block foundation walls were leaking in multiple spots and the old sump pump was set up to discharge water into a crawl space, instead of outside. The home owner recently purchased the home, and wanted to keep the basement dry all the time. Our System Design Specialist, Derek, met with the contractor to determine the best solution.

Solution

Working with the contractor, Derek created a long-term solution to keep the basement dry. The crew, led by Steve daSilva, installed a full perimeter system of CleanSpace Wall with WaterGuard. The CleanSpace Wall will direct any seepage from the block foundation into the WaterGuard system. The WaterGuard then directs the water to the new SuperSump pump system to pump the water out of the basement and outside. The homeowner plans to address the crawl space in the future as well.
