Basement Waterproofing in Plympton, MA
Challenge
Paul in Plympton, MA called DryZone looking for a fix to his leaking basement. He mentioned that half was fieldstone walls with dirt floors and he believed there was water was coming through there but wanted a free estimate to get professional eyes on the space and see what could be done. When our inspector Sam got out there, they talked about what was happening and what DryZone would do to fix it for him. Paul liked what he heard but let Sam know he was going to be getting other estimates from other companies and Sam completely understood and ask when he got them all and made his decision to let us know.
A few days later Paul got back and wanted to go through with DryZone, he felt the other companies were trying to sell him more stuff than he needed and he was not impressed. Sam was glad we could offer that straightforward estimate he was looking for and got started on getting the install going.
Solution
The install went great, Carlos successfully lead his team in getting Paul’s basement waterproofed! They added in a SuperSump with Waterguard tied in to gather and extract the water getting in, then the SaniDry dehumidifier to collect the moisture in the air and drain directly into the sump system. They added a bit of CleanSpace to the wall by the sump to help with any seepage and put fresh concrete down to seal the sump and drain in. Paul loved the results and was ready to see the system get put to work!
