Service and cleaning of Super Sump pumps
Challenge
Our team was called by homeowners looking to have their SuperSump Pumps serviced after a number years of not having it done. The homeowners were concerned that there was sediment build up. When our Service tech arrived at the home he found both trench drains and artery pipe blocked solid with sediment due to lack of yearly service.
Solution
Our Service Tech started by removing three, gallon buckets of mud from both trench drains then flushed them and the artery to the basin. Our Service Tech scubbed out the basin and serviced the first pump which was still working well, Discharge line, Water watch alarm and second SumpPump were also all in good working condition. The Water guard required being flushed out.
After all the sediment was cleaned out the pumps were back to working normally, with no water seeping in from the pipes being blocked up.
Its Important to get your systems serviced yearly to avoid these issues! Luckily the Talent of our service techs got this system back up and running with ease.
