Damp Basement Issue in Westfield, MA
This damp basement in Westfield, MA was in critical condition because there was so much moisture and water in the area. When our inspector visited, he noticed several mold growth areas on the wooden support beams and saw puddles of water just sitting still on the floor. Standing water and moisture can cause serious mold growth and musty odors, so to prevent these issues from continuing, our production team installed a TripleSafe sump pump to discharge the water out the basement. To help get the water to the pump, we also installed a full perimeter WaterGuard interior drainage system, this will collect any floor and wall seepage and direct it to the sump pump. Lastly, moisture was still an issue, so we plugged in a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to fight off the humidity with dry, clean air!
Basement Waterproofing in West Springfield, MA
When this customer called us they had flooding in their basement due to an unusually rainy summer. They also told us their basement smelled moldy and was humid. We set them up for an inspection with a free written estimate. They ended up having a WaterGuard drain set up around the perimeter of the basement. A TripleSafe with UltraSump was installed and the discharge line had an IceGuard and LawnScape outlet to prevent freezing and blockage of the line.

Basement has developed a musty smell last few years. Have some furniture down there now with mold on it. Lower parts of some of the concrete walls are darker then others (never had a water issue/leakage). Want to inquire about sealing the walls and removing excess moisture so I can store items without worry. And how do I get rid of mold down there now?
