Cracks in basement walls causing water to seep in during big rain events
Project Location: West Barnstable, MA
I have cracks in my foundation that leads to water coming in when it rains.

We are purchasing this property, closing date March 21. We would like someone to come scope out the basement after that date to give us an estimate as to what it would cost to seal the half basement that is prone to leaking. The basement has a relatively new sump pump, but we'd like to go further than that to prevent water from entering that space the best we can as the basement area contains our furnace, water pump and hot water heater.

Water seeping into cellar from run off
Project Location: West Barnstable, MA
We have had water in the basement after the past two storms. We just purchase the house in August. It looks like the water is coming in where the wall and floor meet. Walls are stone, floor is concrete. We also need a sump pump installed.
thanks

I have leaking in my basement during heavy rain. I believe there may be a spring under my house. The leaking comes from a few cracks in the foundation. Also, there is some seepage where the walls meet the floor.
I'd like someone to come out and take a look, see what can be done and how much it will cost to address.

We purchased a home in January of this year. It has a very large, open basement that is in good repair however it is extremely damp. The first step in organizing and finishing the space is to address the issue of waterproofing the foundation.
