Sinking Kitchen Floor Issue Resolved in Springfield, MA
This customer in Springfield, MA noticed his kitchen floor was uneven and sinking! The poor structural integrity of his floor didn't settle well with him, so he called us for a floor repair solution.
Our appointment center scheduled one of our inspectors to visit this home and propose a solution. Upon the day of the arrival, the inspector assessed the basement, measured the dimensions, observed the weakened floor support and determined that our SmartJack floor support system would be the best way to raise the floor back to the correct level. After discussing the details, the homeowner was impressed with the features and decided to go along with the job.
Our production team began the job by locating the weakened portion of the floor, then they made a small footing to secure the bottom of the SmartJack to provide a secure base. Then they adjusted the system to properly lift the floor to the correct position. Once the floor was levelled, the homeowner noticed an immediate impact! The floor felt very durable when walking on it, making this job a big success!
Waterproofing in Springfield, MA
When this customer called, she said that she had water leaking in her basement, especially from the basement stairs. Our Call Center Representative told her this is exactly what we help with and set an appointment for a free inspection and written estimate.
The System Design Specialist went out to her home and crafted a waterproofing plan specific to her needs. The crew came out and installed 96 feet of WaterGuard sub-floor drainage around the perimeter of the basement to direct any water to the SuperSump and UltraSump pumps. A WaterGuard Port was also installed so that the system could be flushed annually. Next, they installed a TrenchDrain at the base of the stairs to catch any water that leaked in there, also to be directed to the sump pumps.
The discharge line directed water 20 feet away from the foundation and expelled the water out of a LawnScape Outlet. An IceGuard was also added to prevent blockages and freezing during the Winter.
Replacement Window Needed in Springfield, MA
This customer contacted us with concerns about his basement window. He wanted to replace the window and we recommended our EverLast Window Insert for its double-pane energy efficiency, vinyl composition that wouldn't rust and its overall aesthetic.
This was a pretty typical candidate for a basement window replacement because the windows were collecting vegetation, rusting over, and were not easy to operate. Our EverLast Windows can made those issues things of the past.
