This basement in downtown New Bedford, MA was built in the 1800's. The stone foundation has been deteriorating for years creating a nightmare for the homeowners when it rained. The solution would be to install a vapor barrier that can be tucked into the flange of their sub floor drainage system. The Cleanspace wall is a 20mil pastic vapor barrier that would trap anything dripping down the walls and redirect it to the WaterGuard which will carry it to the sump.

This customer in New Bedford, MA wanted to repair the middle part of his floor that was sagging downwards towards his basement. When one of our inspectors took a look at the support beams under the floor, he noticed that one of the support posts were slanted a bit, causing the middle portion of this floor to sag down.
The inspector suggested that we install our own supplemental steel beam and raise the floor using out SmartJack floor support system. This is made of galvanized steel that won't corrode, ensuring a long lasting floor solution. Once the homeowner agreed, our production team went right to work!
They placed a steel beam under the weakened wooden beam and then installed 4 SmartJacks under it. Each SmartJack was secured into the ground by making a concrete footing, and from there the crew adjusted the system to give the correct amount of lift for the floor above. Once the floor was in place and stabilized, the homeowner saw an immediate impact on the floor and was happy that his worries were gone!
This homeowner in New Bedford, MA had a very small sump pit that had an old pump inside of it. It worked fine for the first year, but the rain storms have become more severe, and his system wasn't able to hold up, especially during power outages since it relied on electricity. When he told our appointment center, this, we had an inspector assess his basement to create a solution.
After seeing how little the pit was, the inspector informed the homeowner how the hole would get filled quicker, making his pump work harder than it can handle. That's why the inspector had our production crew replace the system with the TripleSafe sump pump. The pit is much bigger, the system can hold in more water, it can pump more efficiently and it will still operate during power outages.
Once the job was done, the homeowner couldn't believe the improvement! He saw no water lurking around whenever it rained since it was effectively discharged away!

Luckily, her daughter who had used our services before suggested her to our website because she heard we had the most reliable systems out there! So the homeowner gave us a call and we were able to send an inspector over to look at the issue himself. Once he understood how much water was getting into this basement, he suggested our TripleSafe sump pump. When we sent an inspector to examine the issue, he noticed that the sump pit was so small, that it couldn't hold all the water coming in. Due to this, the sump pump would constantly overwork itself, and it could eventually burn out. The inspector told the homeowner that we could install our TripleSafe sump pump that comes with a bigger sump pit, so there's no risk of the system constantly running all the time. The homeowner agreed, and our production crew was able to take out the old sump, and jackhammer a new sump pit for the TripleSafe! Now, this homeowner doesn't hear a sump pump constantly running, giving him a peace of mind!

She wanted a solution sooner than later because she didn't want mold to grow onto the wooden frames. We sent an inspector straight to the source of the problem, and he came up with a plan to have our production crew install a TripleSafe sump pump and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Kimberley W. has been a customer of ours since 2014. Her New Bedford home had been waterproofed many years ago and she has experienced great sucess with DryZone and our system. She has a SuperSump, the UltraSump battery back up and a full perimeter WaterGuard system.
This customer understands the importance of yearly maintenance on her system to make sure her pumps are operating at an optimal level and to clean any debris or 'gunk' off the pumps and liner. At her most recent service appointment, she expressed a concern with moisture and humidity in her basement. She wanted to know if there was anything we could recommend for her.
Nick DeCosta, one of our veteran techs, knew exactly the product to recommend to solve her moisture problems and he happened to have one on his truck and could install it that day! The SaniDry Sedona is our newest model of SaniDrys. Weighing only 63 pounds, it is easy to install, can fit virtually anywhere but is still the energy star rated dehumidifier our customers have come to know and love.
Nick installed the Sedona at the time of the service and Kimberley has been thrilled with the results!
