A homeowner in Needham, MA called our appointment center for a waterproofing solution for her wet basement. She didn't want to deal with a wet basement anymore, and understood the risk of not waterproofing. She didn't want the water to damage the structural integrity of the home, so by calling us, she made a good decision!
We sent out one of our inspectors to assess the problem in person. Once he determined the right solution for the homeowner, our production crew went along to install the system.
The system included CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to prevent water vapor or moisture from entering the basement, a full perimeter WaterGuard interior drainage system to make sure all the seepage is intercepted before it reached the floor, and a TripleSafe sump pump to discharge all of the water out of the basement for good! A waterproofing solution like ours is the best if you want to keep your basement dry and safe for the years to come!
This homeowner noticed his basement was always wet and realized he needed professional help. He contacted our appointment center, and soon after an appointment was booked for our inspector to evaluate the basement.
Upon arrival, the inspector thoroughly looked at the corners, joists, floors and walls to find the intrusion points where the water was getting through. He then spotted various spots where the water was puddling up around, and recommended that two TripleSafe sump pumps and an IceGuard to be installed. The basement was very spacious, so two sump pump systems would ensure that every portion of the basement stays waterproofed.
Once the crew installed the system, the basement seemed less damp and not a puddle was in sight anymore!
A customer's sump pump in Needham, MA needed to be checked out after it was continuously running, keeping him up all night due to anxiety and the noise. When our service technician checked it out, he found that the float switch of the system was stuck in the "on" position, hence the reason why the sump pump was always on.
