In this particularly wet corner of the basement in a Mapleville, RI home, every time it rained there was leaking water and the owners needed a fix. One of our suggestions was a sump pump in that corner which would collect the water, but only from that spot or what water would make it to that spot. We always recommend a full perimeter drainage system but we understand some basements might not need the whole deal, this one only really needed a SuperSump which we added an UltraSump battery backup to in case of power outages, a pump would still be able to run.
