This customer in Greenville, RI wanted to prevent her basement floor from getting wet. She realized she needed a sump pump after seeing puddles of water scattered all across her floor during a rainy weekend. This was a wake up call for her as she called our appointment center for help. From there, they scheduled one of our inspectors to visit this customer's home and assess the problem.
During the assessment, the inspector measured the dimensions of the basement, observed where the water was coming from and discussed certain solutions to the customer. Then they both reached an agreement to install CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier, a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard interior drainage system.
During the installation, the crew jackhammered a trench along the whole interior perimeter of the basement floor to make room for the WaterGuard. Our WaterGuard intercepts water before it reaches the floor and then channels it to the TripleSafe sump pump that is equipped with a primary, secondary and battery backup pump. We installed the sump pump in the lowest spot in the floor so that gravity can do its part and direct the water towards here. Then, they lined up the interior walls with CleanSpace to prevent moisture intrusion. This vapor barrier can also direct water seepage into the WaterGuard for maximum efficiency. For a bonus, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to help combat the basement humidity. Once the installation job was complete, the customer was extremely pleased with the results. The floor was bone dry and the air felt less humid!
When a homeowner from Greenville, RI started to smell something off putting, he began to try to find the source of it. It took him a while until he realized it was coming from below him! His crawl space had become a damp environment from being so humid, so he began to look online for a solution that will prevent any future mold growth, since humid areas create the perfect situation for mold and mildew to thrive in.
He contacted one of our appointment center people, and they set up a date for one of our inspectors to visit the crawl space and determine the best possible solution. When the inspector arrived to the home, he measured the relative humidity which was much higher than it should be! From this, he knew that our CleanSpace vapor barrier would be the best way to prevent any outside water vapor and humidity from passing through. The homeowner agreed after he was informed this will protect his structure and insulation of his crawl space.
Once the details were set, our production crew arrived on site and began to clean out any debris that was laying around before they encapsulated the area with CleanSpace. Once the barrier was installed, the homeowner had a peace of mind knowing that mold and rot won't be happening in his crawl space!
One day, this homeowner noticed how musty her crawlspace smelled, and it was getting to a point where the air was getting too humid. Worried, she called us for a waterproofing system to keep the humidity down.
When one of our inspectors went to the scene to assess the problem, he suggested to encapsulate her whole crawlspace to make sure no outside moisture gets in. The moisture was the root cause of the humidity rise, so preventing its entry way is the perfect way to prevent future dilemmas!
Our production team cleaned out any debris that would be in the way and began wrapping up the whole area with our thick, polyethylene liner! In addition, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to push out dry air. Once the job was done, the homeowner happy see and feel the change in her crawlspace. It went from a damp, cold area to a dry and safe one all because she went to us!
This leaking basement in Greenville, RI was a mess after a day long rainstorm hit their town. The amount of water that was leaking into the basement was too much to handle, and water began puddling up on the basement floor. After angrily vacuuming the water, he immediately looked for waterproofing solutions online.
Once he reached our website, our systems design specialist went out to suggest a plan. The plan was to install a WaterGuard interior drainage system to run along the one side that was leaking in water. He also included to connect that to a TripleSafe sump pump to discharge the water away. The homeowner said yes to the job understanding that this was the best solution.
Our production crew installed the two systems after opening up the floor with a jackhammer. Once the systems were in place, we covered it up with fresh concrete! The basement is now well protected from the harmful volumes of water that were leaking in. It'll remain dry for the years to come!
During a rainstorm, this house in Greenville, RI got some water seeping in from one of the basement windows. After inspecting the seepage spot we were able to see that the existing window well had a crack which is how the water was able to get in. We installed one of our Sunhouse window wells around the window to create a solid seal and keep water out while still letting natural light in.
Kevin in Greenville had his system installed in 2011. He has a SuperSump sump pump and the UltraSump battery backup. During a routine annual maintenance, our service technician, James Boughner, removed the pump from the liner and scrubbed down all the sides of the liner and removed some of the small debris that had collected in the bottom. He checked the pump switch for any defects and replaced the 9-volt battery in the WaterWatch alarm. He tested the backup, which passed. James then floods tested the system without any issues. He inspected and cleaned all valves, parts and breather holes and the impeller. Given the age of the battery backup at this check-up, James recommended replacing the UltraSump within the next year or two but he also recommended a SaniDry XP to control basement humidity and moisture.
Kevin took James recommendation and he installed it that day! Kevin was very happy with his decision to continue having annual maintenance performed on his system and he is thrilled with his new piece of this system.
