Amanda G. inherited this house from her in-laws which means she unfortunately inherited their long time water problem. Her and her husband wanted to keep the home but could not deal with the foot of water they got throughout the whole basement every time it rained. After hearing about DryZone from several friends, family members and even her husband's boss she still thought she could solve the problem on her own. After a year of shopvacing water, she saw our commercial and decided it was time to give us a call. She met with her system design specialist, Dan and he quoted her WaterGuard, a SuperSump, CleanSpace Wall and even our ThermalDry floor matting. Within 3 days of her free estimate, Amanda called DryZone Basement Systems to have her basement problems fixed once and for all. It has been 3 years since Amanda contacted us and she has not had a single drop of water in the basement since. It's safe to say there is no problem too tough for us!
Geraldine had two areas of her basement for DryZone to address which is common for this area of the country. She had a full basement and a crawlspace. She met with her system design specialist who did a thorough analysis of the basement and crawlspace, outlining her options. After going through the process with Steve, she realized there were certain things she wanted in her basement that no company had ever suggested before. She wanted to keep her whole basement dry all the time! She also realized that her crawlspace was losing heat by not sealing the air in the rim joists. Steve suggested she do a full perimeter WaterGuard system that connects to a TripleSafe sump pump. We added vent covers to her crawlspace and sealed and insulated her rim joists with SilverGlo. A SaniDry was added to remove the humidity and moisture from the entire space. Geraldine told Steve she chose our company because it was the most comprehensive system and we had great ratings online! She also emailed her gratitude by saying she was 100% confident that DryZone was going to solve her issues. The job went well, working around many obstacles that most companies wouldn't and she has been bone dry ever since! She just had her first annual maintenance since her installation and was thrilled to be able to say she has not worried when she sees rain in the forecast!
Kimberley W. has been a customer of ours since 2014. Her New Bedford home had been waterproofed many years ago and she has experienced great sucess with DryZone and our system. She has a SuperSump, the UltraSump battery back up and a full perimeter WaterGuard system.
This customer understands the importance of yearly maintenance on her system to make sure her pumps are operating at an optimal level and to clean any debris or 'gunk' off the pumps and liner. At her most recent service appointment, she expressed a concern with moisture and humidity in her basement. She wanted to know if there was anything we could recommend for her.
Nick DeCosta, one of our veteran techs, knew exactly the product to recommend to solve her moisture problems and he happened to have one on his truck and could install it that day! The SaniDry Sedona is our newest model of SaniDrys. Weighing only 63 pounds, it is easy to install, can fit virtually anywhere but is still the energy star rated dehumidifier our customers have come to know and love.
Nick installed the Sedona at the time of the service and Kimberley has been thrilled with the results!
When Andrea called in for help with her basement in North Dighton, MA, we could immediately tell she felt she ran out of repair options and was desperate for help. We reassured her that she was in good hands and had found the experts in the basement waterproofing field, we were here to help!
Once inspecting the basement, our design specialist could see the problems and her attempted solutions, filling cracks with caulking and cement but nothing was working. We told her all about our wall crack solution, FlexiSpan, how it was installed and what it would do to keep her basement dry.
During the install, numerous layers of sealant are added with one being an emergency backup layer, in case any water does leak through, it will be escorted by that layer into the drainage system we install at the bottom of the crack. We then covered the system with CleanSpace for even more protection and to create a clean finish on the wall. Andrea was so happy with the results after the installation and even more so once the property got its first rain and her basement stayed dry!

This damp crawl space in Dighton, MA had visible signs of mold growth on the wooden support structure holding up the floor above. This partially finished basement was experiencing issues of water leaking through the foundation wall, near the floor but not quite at the joint, due to a pipe penetrating through the wall. Thanks to our inspector, Steve's, recommendation - they installed a short stretch of our WaterGuard drianage system, a SuperSump pump system, an UltraSump battery back up, and our IceGuard & LawnScape outlets - that allow for and improve the performance of the discharge line that carries water away from the foundation!
This unfinished Westport, MA basement was taking on water year-round, and especially in periods of heavy rain and windy storms. With water seeping in from cracks along the wall/floor joint, and puddling on the floor - it was time to call in the professionals. Our inspector, Steve, who is very familiar with this area, suggested to the homeowner and her son that they install our WaterGuard drainage system, as well as a TripleSafe sump pump system to help eliminate their water issues. These homeowners in South Easton, MA have a semi-finished basement, and noticed that in the unfinished portion - they were taking on water. The concrete foundation was showing signs of water and staining, and there were some cracks that were obvious as to where the leaks may be coming from. Some other spots were less obvious though, and our trained inspector - Michael - was able to help pinpoint some of those spots during his free initial inspection. Water seemed to also be seeping in from the wall/floor joint of the concrete foundation; concrete can be very porous and allow for small leaks to turn into larger problems - especially in extreme cold weather like we get here in New England.
A partial WaterGuard system installed along a portion of the perimeter walls of the basement will catch any water seeping through those hard to reach, hard to see spots - and carry them directly over to the TripleSafe sump pump system to eject the water out and away from the basement and foundation of the home! Thank goodness they reached out to DryZone!
