A customer in Boylston, MA wanted to extend his discharge line because he felt like the water wasn't being dispersed far enough. Having a short discharge line can cause the water to creep back into the basement, so the longer it is, the farther the water will be sent away. So our production crew extended the homeowners discharge line by 20 feet where the yard began to slope down! Now, the water being pushed from the sump pump will least likely return to the basement now!
