Insulation Photo Album: Rim Joist Insulation in Whitman, Massachusetts

The home owner in Whitman, Massachusetts had met our systems design specialists at realtor networking event and had DryZone to her property a few days later to inspect the basement and crawl space. The home owner wanted to seal her crawl space and prevent drafty floors in her home. Another problem area in the home was the lack of insulation in the rim joists. The installation foreman installed spray foam insulation to prevent air flow from the outside of the home to the inside. In the winter months the heat would escape through the leaky joists and in the summer months the warm, humid air would enter.
