Foundation Repair Photo Album: Reincoforcing a Sloping Floor Above a Crawl Space in Barrington, RI

This crawl space in Barrington, RI had so much excess moisture in the air that it caused the wood to rot. Specifically, the wood that was supporting the floor above, which caused the floor above to slope down. To avoid a floor collapse, our team planned and installed SmartJacks under the rotting wood to raise the floor back up and secure it in place. To help minimize the amount of moisture getting into this crawl space, we encapsulated the whole area with CleanSapce vapor barrier. Now, this floor is safe, and the crawl space is dry!
