Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Nantucket, MA Crawlspace Renovation

In Nantucket, MA, this crawlspace was giving off a musty smell and causing a disturbance to those upstairs. With an inspection we could verify that this space needed some waterproofing and dehumidification solutions that DryZone could definitely help with. At the install we added a series of products that would encapsulate, remove water, and dehumidify the crawlspace. Products like CleanSpace vapor barrier, TripleSafe sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, will work to dry out the space and remove the musty smell that was causing concerns.

Here is a view of the crawlspace encapsulated with all of the products installed, looks pretty good!

Sealed in Insulation

The shiny insulation, SilverGlo, can be seen here with Rim Joist Insulation spay for a tight seal that will help keep this space a controlled environment.

Sump Pump is a Go

The TripleSafe sump pump with triple pump protection includes one pump that is powered by a battery if power is ever lost in the crawl or property.

Get that Water Out!

The water coming in has to get out somehow and that's where the discharge comes in. With a pop-up end, the water will get pushed out of the crawl and away from the home.
