Wet basements do nobody any good, especially this home in Dennis, MA whose basement had a ton of water and the mold there was thriving. To take care of the mold, we needed a system that would work to remove as much moisture from the basement as possible, big project but we knew we could handle it! Along with a WaterGuard perimeter, DryZone installed a SuperSump sump pump with an UltraSump battery back-up to help get rid of the water coming in the basement. But just getting the standing water out wasn’t going to be enough, that moisture in the air had to be taken care of too. A SaniDry dehumidifier was installed to clear the air and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier was put up to protect the room from the nasty mold.

The mold was so bad in this basement it was taking over the walls, making this space a definite health hazard.

CleanSpace Wall is Up

The CleanSpace will create a vapor barrier that will keep moisture and mold out of the air and room.

SuperSump Reporting for Duty

Ready to take on the water in the basement, the SuperSump pump is installed with a UltraSump battery back-up for reinforcement.

WaterGuard Perimeter

All around the outside of the basement, WaterGuard is being added to catch any water that seeps from the wall or floor before it gets to the basement floor and brings it to the sump pump to get pushed out of the basement.

The Cherry on Top

A SaniDry XP dehumidifier is installed and ducted to take care of the whole basements humidity issue and help make this space comfortable and clean.
