Makeshift Vapor Barrier

There was a vapor barrier in place but it was so thin, it was not keeping the moist air from coming up through the dirt floor.

Sump Pump

This is the sump pump under this customer's home. A pump submerged in a 5 gallon bucket. Not very effective

Dehumidifier

The customer was using a store bought dehumidifier to try and remove the water from the air. He had all the right ideas but was using the wrong tools. He was crawling under his crawlspace to empty the dehumidifier every other day!
