Crawlspace Repair Job in East Falmouth, MA
Challenge
There was a crawlspace in East Falmouth, MA that had a plethora of issues occurring. To start, the crawlspace had a weak floor joist, causing the sunroom floor to sag downwards a bit. Also, the area was damp and gave off a musty odor, so it was clear that the crawlspace needed some fixing up. When crawlspaces are in conditions like this, it can eventually collapse, or even grow mold from all the humidity. That's why we sent one of our inspectors to assess the situation and provide a solution.
Solution
The solution included CleanSpace vapor barrier, SilverGlo wall insulation and SmartJacks. The CleanSpace will prevent any moisture from getting in, the SmartJack will raise the floor back to it's original level and the SilverGlo will heat up the area. Once the crew was finished setting up the system, the crawlspace was back to normal! It was clean, damp-free and wasn't sagging down anymore!
