Crawl Space Stabilized in West Harwich, MA
Challenge
When Paul was looking into purchasing this home in West Harwich, MA, he had looked in the crawlspace when touring it and new that it was going to be a big project, but he loved the home and he was willing to get the work done. After some research online, Paul called DryZone and told him what he knew about the space but was looking for someone to come out and do a thorough inspection so he could know for sure what it would take and find a company willing to do the job. Our inspector Steve went over Paul’s concerns like was the structural support in the crawlspace and getting it encapsulated and drafted up a plan to make it all happen!
Solution
The installation went according to plan and turned out amazing! Our crew removed the old insulation and debris and lined the inside with CleanSpace and used Rim Joist spray insulation to seal it up. Smart Jack were used to replace the concrete block supports and will keep the home up and stable. To finish it all up, a SaniDry dehumidifier was installed to keep the moisture in the space controlled if they decided to use this now clean crawlspace for storage. Paul loved the outcome and it was more than he had hoped for!
