This homeowner in Wellesley, MA added an addition onto their basement and it has unfortunately been taking on water during heavy rainfalls. They had worked with us in the past when we waterproofed the main part of their basement so they didn't hesitate to give us a call when they found they needed our help again. Our inspector, David, went out to take a look during the free estimate and went over the best solution with the homeowner. On installation day, our foreman Ryan and his crew got to work in the basement's addition. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the floor, leaving the WaterGuard Ports visible and accessible for dehumidifier draining and/or future system inspections. They also installed our TripleSafe sump pump to pump out the water collected by the drainage system. Outside of the house, our IceGuard discharge line system was installed to prevent flooding from clogged or frozen discharge lies. Now the homeowner can feel confident about the waterproofing systems in both parts of their basement.
