Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement and Crawlspace Project in Quincy, MA
At this home in Quincy, MA the existing waterproofing system couldn’t keep up with the recent rains and water was seeping up from the floor, creating a lot of moisture in the basement and attached crawlspace. To offer a long-term solution we added our WaterGuard system that connected to the existing sump pump as well as our TripleSafe sump to collect all the water seeping in. The crawlspace was encapsulated with CleanSpace vapor barrier and a SaniDry dehumidifier was added to the basement for total moisture protection.
Sump Pump System
Our TripleSafe is tied into the WaterGuard drainage system to collect water and pump it out!
Crawlspace Barrier
CleanSpace vapor barrier lines the floor and wall of the crawlspace to protect from moisture seeping up from the earth.
Appliance Safety
Instead of WaterGuard behind appliances such as the hot water tank, we can put TrenchDrain which connects to the Waterguard but has a grated surface to collect water from all angles.
Removing Moisture
The SaniDry XP dehumidifier will take care of moisture in the air for this combined space.
