Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Chepachet, RI Basement Leak Fix
This homeowner in Chepachet, RI was dealing with water in the basement that the old existing pump could not keep up with and they needed an improved, long-term solution. Our inspector was able to come up with a plan to waterproof the basement, installing a new SuperSump system with Waterguard along the perimeter and CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls. A new SaniDry Dehumidifier was also added to take on moisture in the air, making sure they were completely protected.
Vapor Barrier Liner
Along the walls, CleanSpace was put up to protect from water leaking in from the walls. With this, any water will fall right into the Waterguard and to the sump.
Complete System
The SaniDry dehumidifier and SuperSump Plus system work perfectly together. Moisture from the dehumidifier that gets collected will go directly into the sump for removal.
Grated Drain
In front of the door to the basement we installed TrenchDrain to collect any water that might seep in from under the door.
