Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: New Floor in Easton, MA Basement
This homeowner in Easton, MA was disappointed with a system he had gotten through a different waterproofing company and had contacted DryZone to take the appropriate measures before renovating and finishing the basement. One finishing touch he wanted was a new floor since he knew we’d be doing a lot of digging throughout the space and wanted to include that in the project. To begin, the existing floor had to be completely removed, which was no problem for our awesome production crew! Once all that was removed, the piping and the sumps could go in and a layer of crushed stone is added to allow moisture to drain under the floor as well as create a comfortable base for the concrete. Once the waterproofing job is completed, the last step is to seal all that work in and create a new floor! The crew fills in all the spaces with fresh concrete and takes the time to make sure it is even and precise. As the floor dries, they smooth it out a few more times before the job is done, leaving behind a clean space and a happy customer!
The Before
The basement before our project got started when our inspector visited the home and got to discuss with the homeowner what he wanted from the space.
Removal Process
Our crew works hard to remove the floor and old system that wasn't working for the homeowner, so we can install our system around the perimeter of the room.
Systems In
The piping and systems go into the floor, while Waterguard is along the wall. Once everything has found its spot, clean crushed stone will fill in the empty space.
Sealing the Deal
Concrete is pumped into the basement over a vapor barrier and the crew works diligently to make sure the final result and a smooth and ideal finish!
