With an open sump pit, or exposed sump pump, dirt, sediment and debris can easily collect and the suction created by the pump can pull debris toward the pump’s intake and eventually cause it to clog. When this happens, the water level will rise and your basement will no longer be protected from flooding. Our patented sump pumps come with a durable plastic sump pump liner and airtight cover to prevent debris from getting into the sump pit and clogging the intake.
