Protecting the customer's beautiful floor
With no basement access, the installation crew had to access the basement through the house. The drop cloth is put down to protect the hardwood floor from dirt and scuffs.
The customer's belongings
Basements are used mostly for storage purposes so a cleared out basement is unrealistic. We do, however, ask that a customer moves objects at least 4 feet away from the area we are installing the system.
Taped Off
If there are multiple rooms, we cover the entrances to other areas of the basement to eliminate most of the dust.
Including Washer/Dryers!
We cover those, too!
WaterGuard to the Sump
The perimeter is jackhammered and WaterGuard is laid in the trench
WaterGuard Around the Perimeter
The perforated pipe is placed along the perimeter which will catch any water at the floor/wall seam and direct it towards the pump in the corner
HVAC System
The HVAC system is protected differently than the perimeter. A TrenchDrain will be installed to catch any water before hitting the expensive mechanical system
Stairs
The stairs are a tricky area but our top notch installation crew made it work!
Exterior Discharge
The twin IceGuards carry water from the pump away from the home. It is connected with pipe that is buried underground.
Buried Discharge
You can't even see the pipes, for the most part!
TrenchDrain
TrenchDrain is in place and concreted over
TripleSafe
The TripleSafe is a three pump system that includes a battery back up for protection against power failure or excessive amounts of ground water that require several pumps at once!
