Prepping the workplace
The workplace is prepped by the installation crew upon arrival. This includes putting plastics tarps up to minimize the concrete dust created from jackhammering.
Perimeter Drains
Trenches are dug along the perimeter of the basement
Concrete
Concrete is removed to make room for the WaterGuard system
Tidying up
Barrells are filled with the concrete that is being removed from the basement
Liners and Pipes
The white bucket under the ground is the sump pump liner. This is what the pumps will sit in. The grey pipes are called WaterGuard and they will take the water from the perimeter and carry it to the sump
Crushed Stone
We fill the gap with clean, crushed stone to filter the ground water better

The pumps are in place in the liner and the battery back up is charged and ready to go!
IceGuard and Discharge In Progress
The IceGuard is in place (the white piping coming out of the side of the house) and the discharge is being dug
Concrete
The concrete is put over the stone and WaterGuard
Inspection Port
The inspection ports are in place to be able to check the system for clogs or debris
