Existing Sump Hole
The sump pump that was installed in this basement was just sitting in an open hole filled with water.
Crazy Clean
Our installation crew makes sure to keep your home as clean as the way we found it. If there is no basement access, we cover our entire path with the vapor barrier, CleanSpace, to ensure no dust is left behind.
CleanSpace Leading To Basement Stairs
The path leads straight to the basement stairs
CleanSpace and Fresh Concrete
The CleanSpace Wall is affixed to the stone walls and the WaterGuard system is in place and concreted over.
SuperSump
The SuperSump, with the air tight lid, is ready to pump the water out of the basement!
LawnScape
The IceGuard is attached to PVC pipe that is installed underground and away from the home. Once the discharge is a safe distance away from the foundation, a LawnScape attachment is placed at the end of the pipe. This is a marker for the homeowner and service technicians to know where the water is exiting on the property.
Stone Wall
The stone wall foundation was leaking along two walls in the basement
Water in the Basement
The most common places for water to enter is up through the floor, in through the walls, or in at the floor and wall seam.
IceGuard
The IceGuard (the white piece attached to the house) is a vital part of any discharge line in this area of the country. Since we are often hit with cold temperatures in the winter, the possibility of water freezing in the discharge lines is imminent. The IceGuard prevents the water from freezing and backing up back into your basement, keeping it a dry space.
