Crushed Stone
The WaterGuard is surrounded by crushed stone to help filter the water which prevents debris from clogging the system.
Concrete
The system is concreted over so it is flush with the existing floor. The only exposed part of the system is the inspection port.
Interior Discharge
The white pipe runs from the sump to the outside of the house. Depending on where the low spot is in the basement, sometimes it is not practical to have the water exiting the home near the sump. Our installers strategically place the interior discharge to where it makes the most sense, while keeping things aesthetically pleasing inside.
Exterior Discharge
The exterior discharge is dug below ground and a LawnScape outlet is placed at the end of the pipe. This Lawnscape outlet is the pop up style. When water is being discharged, the green circle will pop up allowing water to flow out. It falls back down, flush to the ground, when there is no more water pressure to hold it up.
