Fieldstone Foundation
This older home in Braintree was built on a fieldstone foundation, like many in the area
Existing Pit
The existing pumps were located in an open pit in a closet area of the unfinished basement. The water was murky and the pumps had been submerged in the hole for years without ever having a proper cleaning.
Basement Stairs
The basement had access to the outside through a doorway and up a set of stairs. Water would collect at the bottom of the stairs during heavy rains.
WaterGuard
The drain pipe is laid down into the trench our installation crew jackhammered around the perimeter of the basement
Digging the Trench
The trench is being dug to install the TrenchDrain. This will stop the water that pools at the bottom of the stairs by collecting it and directing it towards the sump pump.
Cleanspace Wall
Cleanspace is covering the wall and secured with fasteners directly onto the fieldstone foundation. It will collect any seepage from the wall and firect it into the WaterGuard.
Crawlspace, too!
There was a small area of crawlspace in this basement. That had to be encapsulated with CleanSpace, too!
TripleSafe
The TriplSafe sump pump looks at home in the closet. It replaced the existing sump pit with a nice, clean lid and liner.
Inside the Crawlspace
CleanSpace wraps the floor and walls for protection against water and moisture
Vapor Barrier on the Walls
The CleanSpace Wall creates a barrier between the moist basement wall and the rest of the space. No water will be seen dripping down these walls.
Vapor Barrier
We make precise cuts in the plastic to install the system around obstacles that cannot be moved away from the walls.
SaniDry Sedona
A SaniDry Sedona completes the system by pulling 100 pints of water from the air in just one day!
