The owner of the Veterinarian Hospital in Fairhaven, Massachusetts knew it was time to take care of the water problem in the basement of the building. The old New England building was made into a Vet years back but the water problem became an issue when their sump pump was no longer working. There was evidence of mold and water damage on the walls of the basement and leaky areas in the concrete. Our system design specialist Tim Dagen proposed a vapor barrier to help this humid and damp basement and a TripleSafe sump pump system to keep the ground water from damaging the basement anymore.

This vet hospital had ground water seepage and moisture problems. The ground water seepage was solved with the TripleSafe sump pump system and battery back up. The battery back up will ensure that the basement will not flood even in an outage.

The vapor barrier is carefully lined along the walls of the basement to prevent from mold and moisture damage in the basement.

WaterGuard in Fairhaven, MA

Shown in this image is the perimeter drain system which is called the WaterGuard system. It is installed to prevent the ground water from coming in. The drain system leads to a sump pump which is eventuallly pumped out of the basement.
