The customer in Mattapoisett was fairly new to his property and wanted to solve the problems of mold, mustiness and cold floors in his home. He also had concerns about the stability of the crawl space. He called DryZone for a free estimate and we were available shortly after for an appointment. Our system design specialist proposed a vapor barrier, dehumidification system, supplemental beams and rim joist insulation using spray foam to create a tight seal.

Rim Joist Installation in Mattapoisett, MA
Shown here in the far end of the crawl space is the vapor barrier against the wall and at the rim joist is the spray foam insulation. The spray foam insulation will help keep their crawl space property insulated and energy efficient.
