WaterGuard inspection port is in place for maintenance of the system primarily. This is for the system to be properly inspected and flushed if need be.

Shown here is the hot water heater in the customers basement. The installation crew installed WaterGuard around the hot water heater and also installs CleanSpace under the hot water heater for the water to move towards the drain system.
