Basement in Norwood, Massachusetts

Challenge

The customer in Norwood, Massachusetts had a handful of concerns in his basement. His basement had flooded more than once and damaged the lower part of the walls, leaving mold and moisture stains. The basement was also very outdated and the home owners was a space for gym equipment and a lounging area. 

Solution

The Norwood, Massachusetts home owner contacted DryZone Basement Systems and scheduled a free estimate. Our system design specialist Patrick Cahill inspected the basement and suggested a few necessary products. These products included wall restoration and a SaniDry dehumidifier which will help immensely with the moisture issues. The installation crew started their project by cutting out the bottom half of the basement wall which was damaged by flooding in the past and reinstalled a wall which is mold and water resistant. Also installed was a SaniDry dehumidifier system to help control the moisture and humidity. To complete this basement they also installed ThermalDry flooring. Which is a safe flooring to have in a damp basement.
