Wet Basement Waterproofing in Tiverton, RI

Challenge

This homeowner in Tiverton, RI was finding that when it rains, water would enter their basement through various spots and their sump pump from a previous installer was not catching water the way it's supposed to. They gave us a call to explore different options and our inspector, Benny, went to the home to assess the basement and find the best solution. Benny drew up a plan that accounted for each water entry point. Since the existing sump pump was failing, it was up to our foreman, MJ, to determine if we should replace it and keep the original location, or move the location altogether.

Solution

On installation day, MJ and his crew determined the lowest point of the basement floor and installed our TripleSafe sump pump there. Then they backfilled the existing sump pit. The crew also installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement floor and our TrenchDrain grated basement drain at the base of the stairs that lead outside. Outside of the home, IceGuard was installed to prevent water from clogged or frozen discharge lines from entering back into the house. At the end of the discharge line, our LawnScape Well was also installed. With all of these products working together, the homeowner has peace of mind knowing that their basement will be protected during the next storm!
